The sky over the Hudson Valley will light up with fireworks over the holiday weekend, with the biggest display in Westchester County taking place Friday night at the Kensico Dam Park in Valhalla.

People started arriving at the park early Friday, vying for the best spots as workers prepared for the festivities, which will include a performance by the Westchester Philharmonic, plenty of food and a fireworks display.

Admission to the annual Kensico Dam Music Festival is free.
