The sky over the Hudson Valley lit up with fireworks Friday night during Westchester County's biggest annual display at Kenisco Dam Park in Valhalla.

This year?s festival drew in a record-breaking amount of people early Friday. The festivities included a performance by the Westchester Philharmonic, plenty of food and a fireworks display. Nearly 15,000 attended.

Peekskill will hold its Independence Day celebration at Riverfront Green Park Saturday. Fireworks displays will also be held in Pearl River at the Gazebo and Playland Amusement Park in Rye.
