Yonkers residents woke up to a strange sight Wednesday morning - snow plows on the roads in July.

Residents say 6 inches of hail piled up in some areas before the plows came through.

In addition to the hail, residents also had to deal with flooded streets. The National Weather Service is investigating whether a tornado touched down. The storm knocked down trees and knocked out power to at least 17,000 homes and businesses.
