Home of DPW head battered by storm

The head of the Yonkers Department of Public Works got an up-close experience with Tuesday night's severe storm when tree branches crashed into his home.

Commissioner John Liszewski says he and his wife took cover in the basement of their Hudson Terrace home as the wind and rain became fierce and hail began to fall.

In addition to the tree branches crashing into his home, Liszewski says a number of his windows were blown out.
