Appalachian Trail hikers rescued

Authorities rescued two Westchester hikers on the Appalachian Trail Friday.

The hikers called police after getting lost near the Bear Mountain Bridge along the Westchester and Putnam counties border.

Rescuers say the hikers took a wrong turn and found themselves off the trail. After the women called 911, they were located within an hour. Authorities say the woman weren't injured.
