Authorities say 50 homes in Pelham were left without water Wednesday after a main break.
The 100-year-old water main broke at about 4 a.m. near Nyack Avenue. Neighborhood residents say the gushing water resembled waterfalls in their backyards.
Crews worked throughout the day to restore water to all 50 homes.
