Wrong-way driver causes Armonk crash

Police say another driver going the wrong way on a busy Westchester highway caused an accident Wednesday.
According to police, the driver of a Saab heading south on Route 22 in Armonk crossed into the northbound lane, slamming head-on into a Porsche and bursting into flames.
The driver of the Saab was taken to Westchester Medical Center to be treated for severe burns. The other driver sustained minor injuries.
In the meantime, a 19-year-old Ossining resident Henry Garcia was charged with going the wrong way for 6 miles on the Taconic State Parkway while being drunk Thursday. Last week, another driver was arrested in an alleged wrong-way DWI on the same highway.
