Candidates hit the streets as election nears
With only three weeks left before voters hit the polls, the candidates for every major office in Westchester were out campaigning Sunday.
The Democratic candidates on the city and county levels joined Yonkers City Council President Chuck Lesnick for a rally at his headquarters, saying they expect a strong turnout on Election Day.
Lesnick's Republican opponent, Jim Castro-Blanco, a former federal prosecutor, says he's optimistic about his candidacy.
The two men vying for Westchester county executive, Andy Spano and Rob Astorino, were also out on the campaign trail Sunday.
