Police say a man was fatally struck by a train Monday evening near the Peekskill station.
A Metro-North spokesperson told News 12 the victim trespassed and was on the tracks near the crossing, where the gates and lights are located, when he was hit by the Amtrak train.
Police say the victim's identity has not yet been determined.
