Man charged in deadly Yonkers fire

The man accused of setting a fire that killed Yonkers firefighter Patrick Joyce was charged with murder Monday in White Plains.

Rafael Roldan faces up to 25 years in prison for allegedly setting the Oct. 2 fire that killed Joyce and badly injured two other firefighters. Roldan, 33, is expected to be arraigned Wednesday.

Joyce, 39, was forced to jump to his death from the third story of a Waverly Street apartment building because of intense heat.
