Ship from 'Pirates' drops anchor in Yonkers

Downtown Yonkers might look a little more like a movie set this weekend after the Disney-built ship, the HMS Bounty, dropped anchor there yesterday.

The ship is a replica of the real HMS Bounty, made famous for the bloody mutiny that took place on it around 200 years ago in the Pacific Ocean.

The Bounty replica was most recently featured in the series ?Pirates of the Caribbean? as the Black Pearl, and also appeared in the 1960s film ?Mutiny on the Bounty.?

The ship will be open for tours this weekend between 10 a.m. and 5 p.m. The cost of admission is $10.
