Students taken to hospital after bus crash

Nine children, between the ages of 7 and 10, had to be taken to the hospital as a precaution yesterday morning after the school bus they were riding in was rear-ended on the Cross County Parkway.

A Subaru traveling eastbound on the parkway reportedly crashed into the school bus without much force, due to the slick roadways and slow-moving traffic.

All nine students on the bus are said to be recovering, but due to the fact that they are all minors, none of them were able to refuse medical attention and all had to be taken to Saint Joseph?s medical center in Yonkers.
