Kagan: Nomination is honor of a lifetime

Supreme Court nominee Elena Kagan says it's an honor of a lifetime to be nominated to the high court by President Barack Obama.At White House ceremony Monday, Kagan said she's especiallypleased to be nominated to fill the seat vacated by retiringJustice John Paul Stevens, who she says played a special role onthe court.If confirmed, Kagan would bring the number of women serving onthe Supreme Court to three, the most to ever serve at one time.
