Teen celebrates birthday at Make-A-Wish party

A Mamaroneck teen celebrated his 15th birthday surrounded by family and friends at a blowout bash sponsored by the Make-A-Wish Foundation.

Carlo Balsamo was diagnosed with a form of brain cancer one day before his 14th birthday and his family members say they're ecstatic he is here to celebrate another year of life.

In that theme, the party was hosted at Life, an Ardsley venue residents says lives up to the name and features plenty of games.

Carlo's mother, Susan Balsamo, says her son's wish is indicative of his character and selfless personality. The teen chose to throw a party for people close to him instead of meeting his favorite celebrity or a trip.
