New City realtor leaps out of plane to sell home

A New City real estate broker is taking his business to new heights - by leaping out of an airplane.

Michael Galgano has been trying to sell a house in Tomkins Cove that is listed at $599,000, but without success.

So Galgano, who has a fear of heights, decided to attract publicity to the house by jumping out of a plane with a parachute while holding a Web address of the property.

After landing safely, Galgano said he wants to send a message to homeowners to conquer their fear of foreclosure by being proactive and doing a short sale.
