Hearing for Saunders H.S. teacher postponed

A judge has postponed a hearing for Saunders Trades and Technical High School teacher Dean Martin because Martin needs to hire a private attorney.

Martin, 42, is charged with forgery for allegedly changing several students' exam scores. Authorities say Martin may also have kissed and fondled several male students.

Some students and parents say Martin seemed like a good teacher and they are surprised by the allegations.

Although he has not been charged, Martin was suspended for nearly one month following the sexual misconduct allegations.

He is due back in court next month.
