West Point cadets prep for graduation

West Point cadets are gearing up for graduation ceremonies this weekend, as well as a visit from their commander-in-chief.

President Obama announced his Afghanistan policy at the academy in December and is scheduled to be the keynote speaker for this weekend's graduation ceremonies.

Cadet Chris Gaulin, of Hastings, is preparing to be deployed on his first tour of duty in Afghanistan after graduating. He says the president's previous visit really resonated with cadets on campus.

"That's our future. That's where we are going to be. It's the policy we're going to be living out and carrying out."
