Police look to surveillance videos in fatal stabbing

Yonkers police are hoping surveillance cameras in the area of a fatal stabbing Monday will help them find the armed killer or killers behind the deadly daylight attack.

Stanley Sadin was working at his New Main Street business when 23-year-old Herman Medina Vazquez was attacked. "I saw him laying right over there with the blood," Sadin says. Vazquez was taken to the hospital where he died a short time later.

Yonkers Deputy Police Chief William Cave says police have received reports of several men seen running from the scene of the crime.

Police say Vazquez lived nearby on Orchard street, but that his family lives in Mexico and it's unclear if he has any relatives in the U.S.
