Police: 2 students stabbed in school

Mount Vernon police arrested one student at the Nelson Mandela High School after the student allegedly stabbed another two students on school grounds.

The Gramatan Avenue school was put on lockdown after the incident at around 2 p.m. The two victims, whose identities have not been released, were rushed to the hospital.

One of the students was reportedly stabbed in the back, but neither of the students' conditions are known. Police say a suspect in the case is being questioned.
