Candlelight vigil held for Irvington officer

A candlelight vigil was held last night for an Irvington police officer who remains hospitalized after a devastating car accident last month.

Officer Luigi Osso was critically injured while attempting to stop a 16-year-old from Connecticut who had stolen a car.

Osso is currently in a medically induced coma and has undergone several surgeries since the accident.

Osso's fellow officers said they wanted to do something to show Osso and his family that they haven't forgotten about them.

Osso has been a member of the Irvington police department for almost two years.
