6 people injured in Mobil Gas Station crash on Hutchinson River Parkway

Six people were injured today when two cars crashed and caught fire at a gas station on the Hutchinson River Parkway.
Police say that shortly after 11 a.m., a 70-year-old driver had a diabetic emergency after pulling into a Mobil gas station between exits 23N and 25 in Harrison.
Authorities say the 70-year-old driver slammed into another car while pulling into the station, knocking over a gas pump and starting a chain reaction of destruction.
Although two cars went up in flames, none of the victims suffered life-threatening injuries.
The parkway was closed for a short while, but has since been reopened.
Police say the driver has no recollection of the accident.
