Rye Brook investigation continues

(07/16/03) RYE BROOK - It has been five days since two men broke into a Rye Brook home, killing a woman and critically injuring her husband. So far no arrests have been made, as police continue their investigation.

The police tape has been removed from 2 Lincoln Avenue, but most who live on the quiet street won't ever forget the scene last Friday afternoon. That was when Danielle Graziano was killed, and her husband Richard was critically injured after being shot by two men who broke into their home.

Police are remaining tight-lipped about their investigation but say they're making progress. They say the home was targeted but won't comment on a motive.

Rye Brook cops continue to ask passing motorists if they saw anything out of the ordinary around the time of the shooting, or the getaway car, which they say was a green Subaru.

Police are urging anyone who may have any kind of information of Friday's shooting to call the anonymous police tip line at 914-937-0090.
