Rye Brook investigation intensifies

(07/18/03) RYE BROOK - It's been one week since the deadly shooting at a Rye Brook home and still police have no suspects in custody. Police were out in force Friday searching for anyone who may have seen what happened.

The police tape has been removed from 2 Lincoln Avenue, but most who live on the quiet street won't ever forget the scene last Friday afternoon. That was when Danielle Graziano was killed, and her husband Richard was critically injured after being shot by two men who broke into their home.

Rye Brook police were pulling over passing motorists outside the Graziano's home to find out if anyone had information or saw the getaway car, which they say was a green Subaru.

Police remain tight-lipped about their investigation but say they're making progress. They say the home was targeted but won't comment on a motive.

Anyone who may have any kind of information about Friday's shooting is asked to call the anonymous police tip line at 914-937-0090.
