Two men sought in Yonkers murders

(07/28/03) YONKERS - A deadly weekend in Yonkers leaves police searching for two suspects in two separate murders.

The most recent murder happened Sunday. Kenneth Whitehead, 22, was shot to death while standing on Ravine Avenue. Friends say they don't know why anyone would want to hurt Whitehead. Police say the area is known for drug dealing, but that a motive is still not clear. They continue to search for the shooter.

In another case, police are searching for the husband of 54-year-old Elizabeth Rosato who was found dead in her home on Jerome Avenue Friday. Frederick Rosato is being sought for questioning. The victim's son told News 12 Westchester that his mother planned on ending the marriage.
