No injuries reported in Yonkers carjacking

(07/29/03) YONKERS - Police are investigating the incident a carjacking that occurred in Yonkers just before 3 a.m. Tuesday on McClean Avenue between Coyle Place and Courter Avenue.

According to police, a man was sitting in his 1994 Nissan when three men approached him with a sawed-off shotgun and told him to get out of the car. The men then took off, leaving the victim unharmed.

Police later found the car about five minutes from the scene of the carjacking, between Truesdale Place and Rumsey Road.

Cops are searching the area for the suspects.
