Two Marines return home to Westchester

(08/01/03) YONKERS - Two Marines arrived home in Westchester on Friday after serving in Iraq. Following their arrival at Picatinny Arsenal in Dover, New Jersey the soldiers arrived home for a celebration.

Upon arrival, Sergeant John Kelecsney received a warm welcome from his two nieces, and Corporeal Kevin McHale was able to meet his 3-month-old son, Sean, for the first time. The two men became best friends after meeting in the Marines years ago. When the war broke out in Iraq they decided to re-enlist.

After serving a four-month tour of duty in Iraq, both families are happy to have them safely home so they can get on with their lives. Kelecsney will be planning his wedding and McHale will get to know his newborn son.
