Soaring gas prices make for a costly Labor Day weekend getaway

Some Westchester residents say the high gas prices may force them to stay home for Labor Day.

As the unofficial end to summer approaches, Westchester residents are pondering whether they should stay close to home because of the gas prices. One resident says he will definitely stay home and one women says she will still make her getaway because where she is going the gas is a little cheaper.

Meanwhile, the industry is partly blaming the increase in gas prices on the blackout. But some residents simply believe the gasoline companies are unfairly raising prices.
