Widows of September 11th launch charity to help others cope with loss

A group of women who lost loved ones on 9/11 are now trying to help others.

As a way to help others cope with a sudden loss, four women who lost their husbands on September 11th have launched a non-profit charity called September Smiles. The women gave birth shortly after the attacks and have had to deal with the fact that their children will never know their fathers. They say they are looking for a way to pay forward the kindness and help that they each received.

September Smiles will focus on helping widows in the New York area under the age of 50 as well as those who have lost their husbands in Afghanistan and Iraq.
