Weapons, drugs seized in police raid at a White Plains home

A police raid in White Plains lands two alleged drug dealers in jail.

After a monthlong investigation, police raided a home on Fisher Avenue Friday and found thousands of dollars in cash, cocaine packages and weapons, which included a machete, a rifle, a bulletproof vest and machine guns. Fifty bicycles were also found inside. Police say they then discovered 11 people living in illegal apartments.

Police arrested 30-year-old Miguel Sanchez and his 50-year-old uncle. According to police, the two are drug dealers who happen to own a bar and two delis in White Plains. The two now face criminal possession of a weapon charges as well as drug charges.
