Man stabbed in the back at the Mamaroneck train station

Police are searching for the person who stabbed a man in Mamaroneck.

Police say Nick DeJulio, 43, was stabbed at the Mamaroneck train station on Halstead Avenue Friday after getting off a train. They say DeJulio was involved in a confrontation with another man, who then stabbed him in the back.

People who work on Halstead Avenue say DeJulio walked up and down the street each day and would take the train to New York City and return to Mamaroneck.

DeJulio was taken to Sound Shore Medical Center and was treated and released.
