Sleepy Hollow crash kills nanny and injures two children

A local nanny was killed and the two children she cared for were rushed to Westchester Medical Center after a car crash in Sleepy Hollow.The three were out walking just after 5 p.m. when they were struck by a car moving in the same direction. The accident occurred near the intersection of Bedford Road and Webber Avenue.The two children were taken to Westchester Medical Center by stat flight helicopter and there is no word yet on their condition. The identity of the nanny killed has not been released.The parents of the children work in New York City and were not home at the time of the accident, but it is reported that they are now at the hospital.Police questioned the driver at the scene and were told that he did not see the three walking on the road. It is unknown whether police will file charges against the driver.
