Harrison police nab man for transporting $100,000 worth of heroin

Police say they have busted the person responsible for running heroin through Westchester.

Harrison police say they found seven ounces of heroin inside a van driven by 39-year-old Juan Bonnet of Springfield, Massachusetts. Bonnet was pulled over on the Hutchinson River Parkway for changing lanes without signaling. Police say the heroin has a street value of a little more than $100,000.

According to police, Bonnet is a major drug runner. They say he was trying to transport heroin from New York City to Springfield, Massachusetts.

Bonnet has been charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance and driving with a suspended license.
