Comic book characters helping in Westchester's fight against teen drinking

Some famous comic book characters are now being enlisted in Westchester's fight against teenage drinking. It is all part of an early prevention program targeting kids before they start experimenting with alcohol.

Archie the comic book character is now telling Westchester teens not to drink or do drugs. In the comic strip, Archie, Jug Head and all their friends head to Westchester and face difficult situations, and of course there's always a lesson to be learned.

Every middle school student in the county will get a copy of the comic book.

Archie Comics Publications is based in Mamaroneck.
