Conjoined Filipino twins begin rehab at Blythedale before next surgery

After the first in a series of surgeries was completed in the Bronx, the conjoined twins from the Philippines are recuperating at Blythedale Children's Hospital in Valhalla. Their pediatrician says the boys came through Monday's surgery in great shape. He says the boys will resume nutritional support and physical, occupational and speech therapy for several weeks to help strengthen them for the surgeries ahead. The twins will head back to Montefiore Hospital in the Bronx for the next procedure in about three weeks.
