Four-year-old that fell from Croton window released from hospital

A four-year-old girl that accidentally fell from a second-story window at a Croton home Saturday was released from the hospital Monday afternoon, and her family says she's doing well. The young girl from Maryland was visiting family in Croton when a game of tag nearly turned tragic. The youngster fell out a window as she was running, and plummeted 15 to 18 feet to the ground below. Grass underneath the window broke her fall, and she apparently was not seriously hurt.According to local pediatrician Dr. Sanat Daglia, more children die from safety related accidents than any other cause. He says that parents should be close to their children at all times, and that parents must be able to balance safety with curiosity in their children's lives, so that accidents don't happen. No charges were filed in the incident.
