Two accused of sexually assaulting teen at Children's Village indicted

A counselor at Children's Village and a teen resident were indicted for allegedly sodomizing a 14-year-old.

Elliot Perryman, 16, is accused of sodomizing a 14-year-old boy with a broomstick two weeks ago while counselor Jason Brown, 29, allegedly held the teen down. Both are facing charges of sex abuse, weapons possession and endangering the welfare of a child.

Children's Village, a treatment center for troubled children in the foster care system, suspended Brown and another counselor who allegedly did not help the teen while the attack was happening. Westchester County has halted all foster care referrals to Children's Village until the investigation into what happened is complete.

Brown remains free on $50,000 bail, while Perryman, who is being treated as an adult, remains at the Westchester County Jail.
