Manslaughter charges filed against driver in fatal Port Chester wedding night crash

Two counts of vehicular manslaughter charges were filed Wednesday against the driver in a fatal wedding night crash in Port Chester.

According to police, 25-year-old Julio Duchi was driving on Kings Road after the wedding of Blanca Guayllazaca, 27, and Mauricio Yanez, 24. Nelly Guanman, 26, the cousin of the bride was also in the car. Police say the driver swerved into the oncoming lane, smashed into two telephone poles and continued on into bushes. Police say both women were ejected from the vehicle and died at the scene.

Police say that alcohol and excessive speed are to blame for the crash. Both men remain hospitalized in critical condition at Westchester Medical Center. Funeral arrangements for the two women will be made in Queens.Related storyTwo women, one just married, killed in car accident in Port Chester
