Motorcycle collides with SUV on busy stretch of road in Hartsdale

Police say a motorcycle collided with a SUV on a busy stretch of Central Avenue in Hartsdale Saturday.

According to authorities, the accident occurred in outside of a fire department just before 3 p.m. A fire official who responded to the scene first, says he saw the driver of the motorcycle pinned underneath a Jeep. Fire crews quickly responded to the motorcyclist who was not breathing and successfully resuscitated him.

Police closed a section of Central Park Avenue while conducting an investigation into the crash. Authorities say at least one person was sent to the hospital.
