Police bust two Peekskill parents for growing and dealing marijuana

Police have arrested two parents from Peekskill Wednesday after discovering marijuana and drug paraphernalia in their home.

Police say after receiving numerous complaints from neighbors, they busted the home of Donald Carey and Stacey Cooper on Lincoln Terrace. Narcotics detectives discovered two pounds of marijuana, four marijuana plants and $4,500 in cash. Detectives say what was more shocking is that all the drugs were next to the couple?s 7-month-old baby.

Police have charged Carey with criminal possession of marijuana and endangering the welfare of a child. Cooper was charged with unlawful possession of marijuana and endangering the welfare of a child. Cooper was released with their child.
