Shooting near Little League baseball game in New Rochelle

? Police say a man was shot in the leg over a dice game only 50 feet away from a Little League baseball game occurring at Lincoln Park in New Rochelle last week.

Parents are outraged and asking for the game taking place on Friday night to be canceled. They are also requesting their children?s games be moved to a safer park. New Rochelle City Manager Charles Strome insists that the area is safe and the incident was an isolated one.

Police have made an arrest in the shooting, however parents are still worried about the well-being of their children. Little League officials say that games will most likely resume at the park next weekend.
