Yonkers residents upset nothing is being done to fix rat infested building

Some Yonkers residents are upset that nothing has been done to fix a rat infested building.

The building is located on Hamilton Avenue between Morris and Post streets. Residents of the building are angry because they say the rats have been in and around their homes for over a year.

A spokesperson for the Westchester County Health Department says that they plan to look into the matter right after Memorial Day, but the responsibility lies with management.

The building on Hamilton Avenue is owned by Kole Management. The county health department spokesperson says they will try to have the owner and a contractor clean up the problem.
