Village of Elmsford dedicates Memorial Day parade to soldier who died in Iraq

The Village of Elmsford's 75th Annual Memorial Day Parade was filled with the sights and sounds of marching bands, waving flags and fire engines. For one family, however, it was a parade filled with emotions. This year's parade was dedicated to 20-year-old Army Specialist Michael Arciola who died February in Iraq. The tribute brought Arciola?s family to tears as many people remembered the young soldier who paid the ultimate price. Arciola's name is etched in stone at the war monument in front of Village Hall, along with the other men and woman who gave their lives for the country.
