Bronxville students protest school?s decision to let popular English teach go

A popular Bronxville High School English teacher is being let go. On Friday, more than 100 students rallied to protest the school?s decision. The 23-year-old wrestling coach and former Bronxville High School student was not asked back for a second year. Bronxville Superintendent Dr. Warren Gemmil told teacher Billy Magner that he hadn't fulfilled all the state certification requirements. However, it turns out he had. Now, Magner is being told there are other issues that prompted the decision. Students say they will continue their fight to keep Magner at the school, even though Friday?s effort landed them in detention.
