Advocacy group says many minority homebuyers discriminated against

Westchester Residential Opportunities, Inc., an advocacy group, says many black and Hispanic homebuyers and renters are discriminated against when looking to purchase a home.

A report to be released by the group on Monday says that upwards of 48 percent of the realtors in Westchester county discriminate against black and Hispanic renters and purchasers.

Westchester Residential Opportunities says the best way to protect yourself against discrimination is to be a smart consumer and know where you want to live.
