Convicted level-three sex offender from Peekskill back behind bars
Westchester District Attorney Jeanine Pirro announced the indictment of a level-three sex offender Monday.Ronnie Casano, 54, of Peekskill has been accused of not registering or verifying his status as a sex offender living in the county. Under Megan's Law, sex offenders must register their address with the state every 90 days. Casano also failed to register last year and served 90 days in prison on the misdemeanor charge. This time the charge has been upgraded to a felony. If convicted, Casano could face up to seven years in jail.
