New Rochelle strip club plans to open amid community protests

A New Rochelle strip club, which has a community up in arms, is set to open.

The owner?s of Casanova Gold strip club plan on opening its doors Thursday. Residents have been opposed to the club because of its close proximity to New Roc City, a family entertainment complex.

The club is awaiting a court ruling on whether topless dancers can perform. Until the ruling is handed down, Casanova Gold may operate as a nightclub. Outraged residents are planning a rally on June 14 to oppose the club?s opening.
