Montrose mom appears in court to face charges for underage drinking party

A Montrose mother appeared in Cortlandt Town Court Monday to face criminal charges for an underage drinking party back in May. State troopers say the party was held in Linda DiCostanzo?s apartment at the Coach Light Condos in Montrose. But DiCostanzo, whose daughter allegedly threw the party, says it never happened. She's been charged with allowing alcohol to be served to minors. Unlike other underage drinking parties, this one apparently turned violent. State troopers allege four teens who had been at the party, later beat up another partygoer and tried to tie him to a flag pole at Hendrick Hudson High School. DiCostanzo is in the process of hiring a lawyer and she's due back in court later this month.
