Drive-by shooting in Yonkers sends two teens to the hospital

Police say a drive-by shooting in Yonkers Friday sent two teens to the hospital.

According to investigators, a slow-moving vehicle rolled up on two teenagers on Caryl Avenue and the occupants started shooting. Police say a 16-year-old was shot five times and an 18-year-old was shot once. Both were taken to Jacobi Medical Center in the Bronx with non-life threatening injuries.

Residents say they are scared of the violence and have noticed a lot of drug dealing going on in the neighborhood. Police are still looking for the suspects and a motive for the shooting, but believe it may be a case of gang retaliation.
