Westchester and Rockland executives worry about repairs to Tappan Zee Bridge

The Westchester and Rockland county executives have formed an inter-county task force to make sure repairs on the Tappan Zee Bridge stay on schedule.County Executive Andrew Spano (D-Westchester) says not enough is being done to make sure the repairs to the bridge stay on time. Spano and Rockland County Executive C. Scott Vanderhoef formed an inter-county task force to make sure the process doesn?t affect drivers during rush hour.

The New York State Thruway Authority maintains the work will be done during non-peak hours between 10 a.m. and 2:45 p.m.
