A fire badly damaged a window repair business Monday night near Peekskill?s waterfront.

Officials say firefighters from Peekskill and surrounding communities spent most of the night fighting the stubborn blaze on Central Avenue. Fire officials believe the flames started on the recently constructed second floor of the business. Adjoining buildings also had fire, smoke and water damage.

Authorities say no one was injured in the blaze. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
